Minimum age of 18 years is required for the French group courses. However, a person of 18 years (or younger) can be enrolled in the training provided a parent or guardian (the person signing this form) is aware of it. Admission to a certain level is left to the judgment of our teachers and the outcome of the placement test.
Participating in a course/workshop organized by L’école de français is possible provided the enrollment form has been filled in completely and the course fee has been paid before the start of the course.
We will not reserve a place for you until we have received the full payment. However, the terms of cancellation (see below) will remain fully in effect.
All fees are to be paid in advance. The payment is required a minimum of 24 hours before the first lesson. No lesson will be held if the payment is not received at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time.
If the student decides to withdraw after agreeing to the course proposal, he/she must do so at least 48 hours before the first lesson. If the student has not paid yet, he/she will have to pay 20% of the total agreed price for administration costs. If the student has already paid, the full amount paid, minus 20% for administration costs, will be refunded. Request for withdrawal must be done in writing. There is no possibility of withdrawal if you have signed the course proposal less than 48 hours before the first scheduled lesson.
Payment for a package
Payment for a package (a certain number of lessons is required before the beginning of the first lesson. A schedule for the lessons is agreed on by the teacher and the student. All private courses in the package must be completed within 6 months of the first lesson.
Postponing a class is possible by sending a 24-hour notice of cancellation in writing to the teacher. In case the student fails to attend the lesson without prior notice, or sends in a note of cancellation within 24 hours from the starting time of the lesson, he/she will be charged the full amount.
Private classes start and finish at the time agreed between the student and the teacher. If the student arrives late to a private lesson, the teacher may not be able to teach for longer than the initial agreed time. If the student is running late, the teacher will appreciate a courtesy call. Schedule for the next classes is made between the teacher and the student.
The teacher reserves the right to cancel lessons due to situations out of his/her control. If a lesson is cancelled by the teacher, the student will be offered the possibility to follow this lesson at an alternative time or a full refund for this lesson.
